We’re excited to share all the fun ways we’re celebrating excellent attendance this year! Every day in school really does count — and we’ve got some brilliant rewards and challenges to keep children motivated.

🥔 Mr. Potato Head Challenge
- 96%+ attendance (class): ⭐ Earn 2 accessories
- 100% attendance (class): 🌟 Earn 4 accessories
➡ Children love watching their potatoes grow each week!
🏆 At the end of each half term, the class with the most completed Mr. Potato Head will enjoy a special treat.

🎟️ Attendance Rewards
✨ Half Term Prize Draws
- Pupils with 96%+ attendance will be entered into a prize draw (one Infant, one Junior).
- Winners will receive a Just Eat voucher to enjoy a family meal.
🎁 100% Attendance Prizes
- At the end of each term, pupils with 100% attendance will receive a special prize.
- At the end of the school year pupils with 100% attendance will receive an even more special prize

🌍 Be In to Win! Attendance Passports
- Every child has an Attendance Passport to collect stamps for 100% attendance each week.
- At the end of the year, children can spend their stamps at our Attendance Shop in the last week of the summer term.

🏅 100% Attendance Badges
🥉 Bronze Badge – 1 full term of 100%
🥈 Silver Badge – 2 full terms of 100%
🥇 Gold Badge – Whole academic year of 100%

📧 Weekly Updates for Parents
Every Monday, parents will receive an email with:
✔ Their child’s class attendance
✔ The whole school attendance for the previous week
📊 Half-Termly Attendance Updates
At the end of each half term, parents will also receive an email showing their child’s attendance using our traffic light system:
🟢 Green – 96% and above (good attendance)
🟠 Amber – between 91% and 95% (needs improvement)
🔴 Red – 90% and below (persistent absence)
This helps families clearly see how their child is doing and where support may be needed.
