What a busy week! Well done to the following children for being a sports star!

 

Joni (Y1) who won ‘Student of the year 2022’ at her Taekwondo awards evening

 

Teddy (Y3) for being awarded MOM in his football match on Saturday!

 

Amelia (Y3) for achieving her British Gymnastics Proficiency Award!

 

Luna (Y3) for her coaches award in Gymnastics!

 

Our Year 5/4 football team for a superb win against St George’s in the Corgi Cup!

A 3-1 win with 2 goals from Dylan (Y4) and a goal from Harrison (Y5)!


Martha and Jaxx (Y4) for participating in the OneFunRun charity park run to raise money for JDRF Diabetes charity!

 

Ella-Rose (Y6) for receiving the ‘Best New-comer award’ in her boxing class!

Aleah (Y2) who is is now a double under 6 champion after competing in the Ultimate Weekender Competition last weekend!

 

Brontë (Y3) for being a star trainer for her football club!

 

Isamay and Keegan (Y4) who both fought in Muay Thai last weekend in Bolton against Scottish opponents and both won!

 

Blake (Y2) and Cody (Y6) who both got their yellow belts at Taekwondo on Monday!

 

Skyla-Rose McLaughlin (F1) for being star of the class!

Y5W and Y5P - Visiting Tranmere- World Cup Diversity Workshop and the Anthony Walker Foundation, by Mrs Harris

World Cup Diversity Workshop

Year 5 had a really great time at Prenton Park last week learning about the importance of celebrating differences

The children were all fully engaged in the thought-provoking workshops led by The Anthony Walker Foundation and Tranmere Rovers in the Community 

Tranmere Rovers' Josh Hawkes handed out prizes to some of the children who made some important points!

Winter PE Kit, by Mrs Harris

Winter P.E. Kits

For outdoor activities (usually October – February) your child may wear the school outdoor P.E. kit which is a navy/black hooded sweater and navy/black jogging

bottoms, or leggings. 

Children are not permitted to wear sports clothing with logos for P.E. lessons in school.

If you wish for your child to wear a winter kit, please bring it into school and they will be kept in the children's P.E. bag and sent home at the end of the term
